bij verwijdering van de prothesemateriaal heeft rifampicine geen toegevoegde waarde, i.p. behandel als osteomyelitis (6 weken)
keuze afhankelijk van gebleken antibiotische gevoeligheid
totale therapieduur totale heupprothese (THP) of knieprothese (TKP): 3 maanden
