General comments
Keuze behandeling wordt bepaald door uitslag kweek.
Acute prostatitis: behandelingsduur 2-4 weken met bovenstaande middelen.
Met penicillines en cefalosporines worden onvoldoende weefselspiegels in de prostaat behaald.
Bij de behandeling van Grampositieve verwekkers kunnen macroliden en clindamycine adequate weefselspiegels bereiken; overleg met de dienstdoende arts-microbioloog.
