Ciprofloxacine alleen indien bewezen gevoelig
ofloxacine (oog)druppels of dexa/chlooramphenicol/polymixine FNA otoguttae, lokaal
eventueel met een aminoglycoside; er wordt gentamicine (iv 5 mg/kg 1dd maximaal 7 dagen) gegeven
bij onvoldoende verbetering dient ook chirurgische behandeling (sanering van ontstoken bot) plaats te vinden
