Remarks:
Indien voor conservatieve (niet-chirurgische) behandeling gekozen wordt of bij perforatie/gangreneuze appendicitis. Bij primair chirurgische behandeling geen antibiotica bij ongecompliceerde appendicitis. Eventueel iv-orale switch na 48 uur. |

Behandelduur i.p. 10 dagen; voor orale uitbehandeling zijn er meerdere opties, o.a. cotrimoxazol/metronidazol, amoxicilline-clavulaanzuur (evt. + ciprofloxacine), clindamycine/ciprofloxacine, levofloxacine/metronidazol.
